A. Nouns (Tools) + で + Verbs (Verb forms of ます)
In the previous article, you learned about the で particle in Chapter 5 (vehicle verbs) and 6 (place verbs). In this lesson, we will learn about the で particle focusing on Tools and Means Verbs. This particle is used to indicate objects (tools and means) that are used to do something. The particle で in this chapter means "with" in Indonesian.
Example:
1. ぺんでかきます
Writing with a pen
ぺん denotes a noun, で is a verb particle of tool and means, かきます is the activity of someone doing something using a tool.
2. スプーンでたべます
Eating with a spoon
スプーン denotes a noun, で is a verb particle of tool and means, たべます is the act of doing something with a tool.
IMPORTANT!
In Japanese, verbs are placed after the noun or at the end of the sentence. This applies to all verb sentence patterns.
B. Noun (Person) + に + Noun + を + Verb あげます, おしえます, かします
This sentence pattern serves to give an item or information. In the Noun pattern, the person is shown as the object that gives something and then the particle に is added.
The particle に here is not used to indicate time みんな😉. The particle に here serves to show the object being affected, the particle に in this chapter means "To". Writing and pronouncing the subject in Japanese at the beginning of a sentence can be written or pronounced or not, because Japanese people also understand the meaning of writing or saying it has the subject of self.
Example:
1. わたしはやまださんにくるまをあげます
I gave the car to Mr. Yamada.
2. やまださんにくるまをあげます
