A. ます (Masu)

The verb ます (Masu) is used in positive sentence patterns that apply in the present and future.


Example:

1.まいあさ 7じ + に+ たべます

Have breakfast every morning at 7 am


まいあさ 7じ shows that every morning the speaker has breakfast at 7am, the particle for time, たべます describes the activity the speaker does every morning.




B. ません (Masen)

The Verb ません (Masen) is used in negative sentence patterns that apply in the present and future. These verbs have the opposite function of the verb ます(Masu).


Example:

1.まいあさ 7じ + に+ たべません

Every morning breakfast at 7 am


まいあさ 7じ shows that every morning the speaker has breakfast at 7am, the particle for time, たべません describes the negative form of the activity that the speaker does every morning or the speaker never does it every morning.

きのうあさ 7じ shows that the speaker had breakfast yesterday morning at 7am, the particle for time, たべました describes the activity the speaker did yesterday morning.

D. ませんでした (Masendeshita)

The verb ませんでした (Masendeshita) is used in negative sentence patterns that take place in the past tense.


Example:

1.きのうあさ 7じ + に+ たべませんでした

きのうあさ 7じ shows that the speaker had breakfast at 7am yesterday morning, the particle for time, たべませんでした describes the activity that the speaker did not do yesterday morning.

E. か Question Sentence

The particle in Japanese is used as a particle to ask something to another person with a rising tone at the end of the sentence, this aims to show that the person is really enthusiastic or indicates that the person is asking a question.

1. きのうなわじ + に + はたらきますか?

What time did you leave for work yesterday?





F. Particle に

This particle is used when there is a noun that shows time (Hour, minute, second, day, date, month, year, place, and many more). The particle comes before the verb ます.


Example:

1. きのうなわじ + に + はたらきますか?

What time did you leave for work yesterday?


2. きのうあさ 7じ + に+ たべました

Yesterday morning breakfast was at 7 am


3. おとといにほんへいきました

2 days ago went to Japan




G. Nouns から (From) and Nouns まで (To)

The particles から and まで are used to express a place and ask about a place. An example sentence of the particle から is like どこからきましたか? (Dokokara kimashitaka?) which means "where did you come from?" and an example sentence of the particle まで is like 私は5じから7じまでにべんきょうします which means "I studied from 5 to 7". The use of the particles から and まで does not always have to be in the same sentence, but can also be in individual sentences.


Example:

1. 私は5じから7じまでにべんきょうします

"I studied from 5 to 7"


2. 私は月曜日から日曜日までにおおさかへいきました

I went to Osaka from Monday to Sunday.


3. 私はブラジルからインドネシアへいきます

I went to Indonesia from Brazil


4. 午後3時までべんきょうします

Study until 3 pm





H. と Particles

The particle in Japanese is commonly used to refer to objects, people, or other things that are equivalent. Like "you and her", but that's probably impossible since she's already with someone else 😂😂😂. The particle also functions as a conjunction or conjunction, the particle means "And or with".
